A day of constant light rain and a strong north easterly wind.
Seen around St Ouens Pond were the Bittern, 33 Teal, a Little Grebe, 22 Lapwing, 80 Stock Dove, a Pink-footed Goose, a Barnacle Goose and 495 Greylag Geese!
At La Sente were 162 Brent Geese, 21 Redshank, 175 Black-headed Gull, 2 Common Gull, 2 Mediterranean Gull and 9 Grey Heron while along Route des Cotils were 6 Cattle Egret.
A Brambling visited a garden at Beauport, a Black Redstart was at Le Squez and roosting at St Aubins were 38 Redshank and 5 Turnstone.
Yesterday, 20 Snipe and 2 Woodcock were at St Ouens Pond, the Hoopoe was seen near Jersey Pearl, 12 Cattle Egret were at Cowley Farm with another 14 at Le Catillon and seen from Seymour were 9 Common Gull, 420 Dunlin, 215 Sanderling, 134 Grey Plover and 80 Turnstone.
