An overcast day with occasional light drizzle in a fresh southwest wind
Some better movement of seabirds past Corbiere this morning included 73 Balearic Shearwaters, 52 Manx Shearwaters, 4 Guillemots, 76 Gannets, a Fulmar, 39 Shags, 5 Cormorants, a Kittiwake, 24 Mediterranean Gulls, 16 Black-headed Gulls, 36 Lesser Black-backed Gulls, 37 Great Black-backed Gulls and 5 Curlews.
At St Ouen's Pond this morning were a Greenshank, 3 Lapwings, 2 Marsh Harriers, a Peregrine and 8 Swallows, with a Skylark by Sands and a Swift on Jubilee Hill.
On the East of the Island, 35 Sandwich Terns, a Common Tern and 3 Mediterranean Gulls were seen at La Rocque, with a Great Crested Grebe, another 30 Sandwich Terns and 120 Oystercatchers seen at Pontac.
At St Aubin were a Shelduck, 6 Redshanks, 148 Black-headed Gulls and 4 Mediterranean Gulls.
