For a change, anticyclonic conditions were in charge today, with an easterly wind and fair to fine weather.
Passing Corbiere this morning were 14 Manx Shearwaters, 6 Balearic Shearwaters, 12 Common Scoters, 162 Gannets, 2 Fulmars, 35 Cormorants, 27 Shags, a Kittiwake, 11 Lesser Black-backed Gulls, 8 Mediterranean Gulls, 5 Black-headed Gulls, 83 Great Black-backed Gulls, a Sanderling, 2 Dunlin, 2 Common Sandpipers, 2 Curlews, 6 Swallows and 2 Peregrines, with a Grey Seal and 7 Bottle-nosed Dolphins offshore. At Petit Port were 36 Curlews, 2 Whimbrels and 12 Little Egrets
Around Les Ecrehous today were 200 Sandwich Terns and 3 Roseate Terns.
Evening update: At the Grainville Cricket Field was a Peregrine and at Grands Vaux reservoir, a Kingfisher and a Grey Heron,
Visible migrants flying over Noirmont this morning included 8
House Martins, 18
Swallows, a
