An awful day, with rain throughout in overcast and cold conditions in a fresh southeasterly wind.
At La Sente were a Kingfisher, a Shelduck, 175 Brent Geese, 19 Redshanks and 8 Grey Herons, with another 30 Redshanks in an adjacent field.
On St Ouen's Pond were 10 Wigeon and 14 Teal, while at the bottom of Jubillee Hill were 150 Brent Geese and on Route du Port were the Pink-footed Goose and Barnacle Goose, together as usual.
In Beaumont Marsh were 132 Brent Geese, a Shoveler, 2 Snipe, a Water Rail and a Stonechat and at La Haule were 26 pale-bellied Brent Geese and on Route de la Haule, a Blackcap was a garden visitor. 2 Buzzards were on Mount Bingham.
Yesterday evening, at La Haule were 120 Dunlin, one of them Polish ringed, 200 Sanderlings and a Ringed Plover.
