Drizzle and hill fog plagued the morning, before a general improvement this afternoon, winds were from the west-southwest.
A few birds passed Corbiere as the weather improved, with counts of 14 Balearic Shearwaters, 9 Manx Shearwaters, a Guillemot, 62 Gannets, 7 Cormorants, 14 juvenile and one adult Mediterranean Gulls, 14 Lesser Black-backed Gulls, 13 Great Black-backed Gulls, 2 Grey Herons, 4 Ravens and a Peregrine.
Seen from the Scrape Hide were 5 Shelduck, the juvenile Lapwing, a juvenile Marsh Harrier in flight, a Black-headed Gull, a Tufted Duck, 3 Swifts, 30 Sand Martins, 5 Swallows and Reed Warblers feeding fledged young.
In St Aubin's Bay, 176 Black-headed Gulls including 11 juveniles were at St Aubin, 2 Black-headed Gulls and 310 Herring Gulls were at the Gunsite and 12 Lesser Black-backed Gull chicks were counted at Fort Regent as well as a Sparrowhawk and 3 Kestrels.
