A cloudy day with occasional showers in a fresh southwest wind.
This morning's counts from Grosnez included 13 Manx Shearwaters, 8 Guillemots, 7 Razorbills, 8 Cormorants, 38 Shags, 60 Fulmars, 26 Gannets, 29 Lesser Black-backed Gulls, 22 Great Black-backed Gulls and 9 Kittiwakes, also a Buzzard and 2 late Swallows still heading North.
Little had change at the Scrape this morning with the pair of Shelduck still with their 3 young, the pair of Oystercatchers also with theirs, also 2 Lapwings and a singing Sedge Warbler still present. To the north of St Ouen's Pond were a Lapwing and a singing Skylark.
The pair of Shelduck at Petit Port were proudly showing 5 chicks this morning while at Beauport were a pair of Stonechats with one juvenile and a Kestrel also seen. A Peregrine was seen in flight at La Moye.
At Rozel Harbour were a Little Egret and a Buzzard and at the Mencap pond were a Blackcap, a Chiffchaff, 2 Ravens and a Buzzard.
A Harris Hawk was seen at Maufant, presumably an escape. Anybody lost one?
